Clothing

  • The children need plimsolls of slippers to change into whilst in playgroup.
  • We do sell sweatshirts and t-shirts with our logo on and keep some in stock.  (see picture in our gallery)
  • They cost £8.50 s-shirt and £5 t-shirt.   
  • It is not compulsory for children to have them, but it does make a child from Rainbow Pre-School easily identifiable and save their own clothes from getting dirty with paint, glue etc.
  • You will be given a t-shirt when your child takes a place with us
  • If you want any to buy more, it is best to do so either on your visit day or at the end of a playgroup session.
  • We ask that all coats, bags, plimsolls, sweatshirts and cardigans etc be named. 
  • We also allocate your child a peg.  There are lists on the wall in the lobby. 
  • Your child will have the same peg for all his/her time at Rainbow. It is very important that you use the correct peg even though you may have to share.  This is done to aid the staff when we need coats because we are going outside, need a child’s bag for changing clothes etc. or need to get a comfort from it. 
  • We would ask that children not wear jewellery other than stud earrings for health & safety reasons.  No necklaces or bracelets thanks
